Job summary

USPI Phoenix Spine Goodyear ASC in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a full-time role in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The technologist will perform diverse radiologic procedures and support physicians with high-quality imaging to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, CPR current, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of previous management experience preferred.
• AART Registered and CPR Current.
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
• Must possess independent decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV and contrast administration, orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, OR radiology, trauma radiology, GI radiology, outpatient and inpatient diagnostic radiology, myelography and arthrography.
• Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs; adjust exposure, voltage and current per safety procedures.
• Prepare supplies and explain procedures; position patients for anatomical views with immobilization devices.
• Monitor equipment and assist with fluoroscopic examinations and special studies.
• Record film details and label; report changes to attending staff.
• Consult with lead tech and radiologist to ensure quality standards.
• Process film and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
