Job summary

MedStar Health Ambulatory Services is seeking an experienced Clinical Care Specialist with radiologic technologist credentials to perform x-ray procedures, manage patient flow, and support physician services in an ambulatory setting.

The role requires ARRT certification, Maryland state ABR license, CPR certification, and strong patient communication skills. Experience with EMR systems and multi-disciplinary care is essential.

Qualifications

• Clinical competency verified during orientation and annually thereafter.
• Excellent customer service and patient interaction skills; EMR proficiency.
• Ability to follow physician orders and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• CPR certification and ongoing education as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs x-ray procedures per physician orders and assesses image quality.
• Transmits and archives diagnostic images to appropriate destinations.
• Maintains radiography credentials and keeps equipment in good working order.
• Assists with patient triage, examinations, testing, and education.
• Ensures room prep, cleanliness, and patient comfort; supports workflow.
