Job summary

Atrium Health Union in Monroe, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams under minimal supervision of the Radiologist. You will coordinate daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.

The role requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology education and registry eligibility within one year, CPR certification, and the ability to work a Saturday, Sunday and Monday night schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition.
• Verifies patient identity and prepares contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and ensures proper positioning for procedures.
