Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with high-quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role is based in Unity Hospital, Rochester, NY, with Mon-Fri 1:00 pm–9:30 pm scheduling and on-call/holiday coverage as described.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have NYS radiologic technology license or permit with licensure within six months of hire.
• Official transcript/registrar letter required for new graduates upon graduation.
• ARRT certification within one year for those licensed after 2007.
• Primary source verification of education within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas.
• Provide timely and proper service during unsupervised shifts.
• Maintain documentation of exams and related procedures in RIS/PACS and charts.
• Clean, restock, and prepare rooms daily.
• Attend hospital and departmental meetings and in-services.
• Maintain excellent customer service behaviors.
• Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

BLS Certification

Radiologic Technologist experience

Education

2 years college certificate or equivalent

NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire

If licensed after 2007, must obtain the ARRT Certification within 1 year of hire
