Job summary

Rochester Regional Health Geneva campus is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, obtain diagnostic-quality films, and ensure patient comfort and safety in a busy imaging department.

The role requires NYS licensure or permit with licensure within six months, ARRT certification within one year if licensed after 2007, and a 25-hour work week with rotating day/evening shifts and weekends. On-call coverage is included.

Qualifications

• Two years college certificate or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.
• If licensed after 2007 must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Radiography of patients in all assigned areas.
• Maintain accountability for timely and proper service during unsupervised shifts.
• Document exams and related procedures in RIS/PACS and patient charts.
• Prepare and restock rooms, attend meetings and in-services, and provide excellent customer service.
• Provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.
