Job summary
HCA Florida Vero Beach Emergency is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform ionizing radiation procedures in accordance with ALARA, administer contrast agents, operate x-ray equipment, and develop films.
Qualified candidates will have ARRT-R Radiography, RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, Basic Life Support, and an Associate Degree, with opportunities to join a large health system dedicated to community service.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (ARRT-R) Radiography
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
- Associate Degree
Responsibilities
- Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for screening and diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards.
- Administers intravenous diagnostic contrast agents, regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and organizes films.
