$3,750 Sign-on Bonus

Shift: PT 20 hours per week, midnight shift 9pm-7am every other weekend with holiday rotation
Job Responsibilities
- Take radiologic films providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging and select exposure factors accurately.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable regulations.
- Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity.
- Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent unnecessary patient exposure.
- Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS (including image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history).
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and film storage.
- Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
- Associate's degree within 6 months of hire, or
- Technical degree required within 6 months of hire.
Certification and Licenses
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 months of hire or transfer.
