Job description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Sign-on Bonus: $3,750

Part-Time Benefits Eligible

Shift: PT 20 hours per week, Friday and Saturday nights - 10 hour shifts from 10p-830a, start time may vary. Includes on-call coverage and holiday rotations.

Cross-training opportunities are available for Radiologic Technologists interested in pursuing a career in CT.

Perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosing disease and injury according to radiologist-established protocols. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomical and technical parameters, administering contrast media or medications within scope, observing and reporting patient activity, monitoring protocols, and following radiation safety procedures.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of experience, or
  • Associate's degree/Technical degree, or
  • 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES REQUIRED:
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer, accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • One or more of the following certifications:
  • Nuclear Medicine Tech credential from NMTCB prior to hire or transfer, including NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) in Computed Tomography, along with CNMT certification.
  • ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography prior to hire or transfer.
  • ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist in Radiography, with Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialties also accepted, prior to hire or transfer.
