Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures per department protocols.
• Identify the patient according to hospital policy and explain the exam.
• Set up the procedure room/equipment for the exam and ensure accuracy of the image.
• QA the exam on PACS before release for interpretation; adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
• Document procedures and maintain equipment and safety practices in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
