Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking a General Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic studies and related procedures with minimal supervision. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to execute diagnostic imaging per department guidelines.

Required licensure includes OBMI and ARRT (RT); AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers is preferred or obtainable within 6 months of hire. Prior radiography experience is preferred (1 year).

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a certified radiologic technology training program.
• Current Oregon OBMI license and ARRT (RT) certification required.
• Preferred: 1 year of diagnostic radiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs General Radiology examinations per department policies and protocols.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and staff in diagnostic testing procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of care standards.
• Assists with record maintenance and statistics as requested.
• Positions patients and acquires images per provider directions.
