Job summary

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality general radiology examinations. You will protect patients by applying radiation safety practices and deliver clear, accurate images for radiologists to interpret.

The role requires JRCERT accreditation, ARRT registrations, and BLS certification. The position is full-time with a daytime shift and every-other-weekend rotation, along with comprehensive benefits.

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• ARRT CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration.
• ARRT CRT-Radiographer (R) Certification.
• BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology.
• Provide high-quality images for interpretation and ensure radiation protection principles are followed.
• Follow established policies and procedures and contribute to patient-centered care.

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography).

Scope of Work

Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations. Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. Follows Corewell health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
