UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL, seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist in the Imaging department to join a dedicated team working Monday through Friday, 11am to 4pm. Outpatient imaging includes X-ray, DEXA, CT, MRI, and ultrasound with emphasis on breast imaging.
You will perform radiologic procedures under a radiologist’s direction, position patients, administer contrast as needed, and ensure high-quality images for physicians. No evenings or weekends.
At UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham North Tower Imaging, we offer a range of imaging services, including X-ray, bone density (DEXA), CT, MRI, and ultrasound with a strong focus on specialized breast imaging. We are the only department at UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham that performs invasive breast procedures. Our collaborative team works Monday through Friday with no evening or weekend shifts in an environment committed to high quality patient care. Outpatient only - X-rays consist mostly of post OP AP & Lateral spines /no fluoro - Must be willing to learn DEXA
