Job summary

Optum in Massachusetts is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology department. This full-time role, based in Auburn and surrounding locations, involves operating imaging equipment, ensuring image quality, and delivering patient-centered care.

You will follow ALARA, manage supplies, and be part of emergency protocols while providing accurate radiographic services for diverse patients. A two-year Radiologic Technology program, MA license, and strong communication are required; CPR

Qualifications

Two-year radiologic technology program with an Associate Degree or certificate.
Valid MA Radiology Technology license.
In good standing with ASRT and ARRT.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Routinely provides radiographic diagnostic services by operating imaging equipment and ensuring technical quality.
Adheres to ALARA and MA state standards for radiation safety.
Maintains department supplies and manages inventory and rotation of stock.
Monitors daily supplies and communicates low stock levels.
Initiates life support measures and is familiar with Code Blue and Nurse Call systems; provides age-appropriate patient care.
Operates C-arm and other equipment to provide quality imaging for procedures.
