Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Science program or eligible for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Must receive accreditation as an X-ray tech from the ARRT within 6 months of graduating from an accredited Radiologic Science program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology, performs and/or assists with all routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures.
• Produce quality images while applying both radiation and physical safety measures.
• Collect Patient Data and Document Procedure.
• Perform Radiographic Procedures.
• Assist Physicians with Fluoroscopic Procedures in Medical Imaging, endoscopy, and the operating room.
• Performance Improvement.
