Job summary

Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID seeks a day shift, full-time Radiology Technologist. Under Radiologist supervision you will perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure image quality, and apply radiation safety while documenting patient data.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Science program or ARRT-eligible, gain ARRT accreditation within six months of graduation, and obtain BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Science program or eligible for the ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology, performs and/or assists with routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Produce quality images while applying radiation safety measures.
• Collect patient data and document procedures.
• Perform radiographic procedures.
• Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures in medical imaging, endoscopy, and the operating room.
• Participation in performance improvement.
