Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our full‑time day shift team. The role performs imaging in Surgery, ED, Pain Center and Imaging Department, prioritizing patient safety and quality care across 40 hours per week.

You will be the first line interface with patients, ensure correct protocol adherence, and participate in CQI activities to improve imaging services. RN/tech collaboration and strict safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current BCLS certification.
• Stand by/Call required.

Responsibilities

• Corroborate patient history with procedure and ensure documentation for radiologist.
• Prepare patients, verify correct patient, parameters, protocol, imaging site, and exam.
• Start and maintain intravenous access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and proper identification.
