Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR, is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Per Diem/Day Shift. The role involves performing imaging examinations per physicians’ orders, using a variety of imaging equipment, and ensuring high-quality images with ALARA principles.

Qualifications

Oregon Radiographer license or temporary license required at hire.
New graduates must obtain OBMI temporary license and secure permanent license within 6 months.
Within 180 days of hire, obtain ARRT national certification.
American Heart Association BLS certification required on hire.
Education must meet certification/license/registration requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform imaging examinations per physician orders with proper patient positioning and radiation dose calibration.
Aim for high-quality images with minimal radiation exposure (ALARA).
Apply clinical knowledge to patient needs and technique selection.
Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
