Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center seeks a Radiology Technologist for a part-time day shift in Portland, OR. You will perform imaging studies, align positioning, and ensure high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety.

The role requires Oregon radiographer licensure (or temporary license) and ARRT certification, with OBMI temporary license for new grads and BLS from AHA on hire. Sign-on bonus offered for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure requirements must be met at hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Within 180 days of hire: National Certification from ARRT.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging examinations according to physicians' orders using imaging equipment.
• Considers patient age-related needs and uses positioning and technique to produce high-quality images.
• Maintains ALARA by optimizing positioning and radiation dose to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
