Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License or
• Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer Temporary License.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging examinations according to physician orders using a variety of imaging equipment.
• Uses clinical knowledge to position patients correctly and calibrate radiation dose to produce high-quality images while minimizing exposure (ALARA).
