Job summary

Sharp Outpatient Imaging in Kearny Mesa, San Diego, seeks a Radiologic Technologist with fluoroscopy experience for a part-time, 0.5 FTE position. You will perform fluoroscopic procedures, ensure safety, and assist physicians while maintaining high-quality imaging and patient care.

Required certifications include AMA-approved program completion, CA Fluoroscopy Permit, ARRT, and CRT, plus BLS. On-site role with a variable shift schedule and no weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Formal AMA approved program completed; valid state/federal certification or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Professionals is required.
• CA DPH Fluoroscopy Permit is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• CA DPH CRT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Documentation management: verify orders, ensure clinical indication, begin exams in IDXrad, complete exams with proper details, code exams and billing modifiers, label films and file paperwork.
• Patient and family education: provide pre/post procedure education, discuss procedure details, ensure understanding and confidentiality.
• Produce high-quality exams: apply correct imaging techniques, position patients per protocol, label studies, and use contrast as required.
• Quality assurance: verify patient identity, assist Radiologist using sterile technique, follow universal precautions, monitor patient status and confidentiality.
