Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Radiology Technologist to operate imaging equipment, produce high-quality radiographs, and support patient care in a 38.75-hour weekly schedule (Mon–Fri, no nights/weekends/holidays). Located across Auburn and surrounding MA sites, including Worcester and Holden, the role emphasizes safety and patient-focused radiology services.

You will work under supervision, ensuring ALARA compliance, stocking and inventory control, and readiness for emergency codes.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program with an Associate Degree or Certificate.
• MA Radiology license required; must be in good standing.
• ASRT and ARRT certification/registrations in good standing; familiarity with Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Routinely provides radiographic diagnostic services using imaging equipment; evaluates image quality and consults a radiologist for suspicious findings.
• Maintain ALARA compliance and proper radiation safety practices per MA standards.
• Manage department inventory, stocking and rotating supplies, reporting low stock levels.
• Monitor supplies daily and coordinate with team on replenishments.
• Assist with life-support protocols and use of Code Blue and Nurse Call systems as needed.
• Operate C-arm and related equipment for imaging support in procedures; ensure quality imaging for clinicians.
