Position Highlights

Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT Technologist performs computed tomography examinations accurately, independently, and efficiently.

Department Description

• Advanced imaging and diagnostic services in North Seattle
• Radiology at UWMC-Northwest is equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging technology. Our board-certified radiologists have specialty training in various imaging fields. Our team is committed to quick and effective diagnosis to facilitate treatment.
• We take time to explain procedures to each patient to ensure they know what to expect.
• Radiology services include routine radiology, MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and independently perform CT exams and procedures
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment
• Coordinate and optimize customer service and workflow
• Set up and clean exam rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready
• Assist with training and mentoring new personnel and students

Required Position Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school; registration by ARRT or equivalent education/experience
• Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist
