Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our on-site imaging team in Alamogordo, NM. The permanent role offers $23.83-$33.45 per hour and a collaborative environment with radiologists, nurses and providers to deliver high‑quality diagnostic images and safe patient care.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of radiology experience, strong patient communication, and knowledge of radiation safety. Portable radiography, ED/trauma support, basic computer skills, and current BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of radiology experience.
• Experience with patient positioning and image acquisition.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and dose awareness.
• Experience in portable radiography and trauma/ED imaging support.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience in performing quality assurance checks.
• Excellent patient communication and comfort measures.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and room turnover basics.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging per protocols and quality standards.
• Ensure patient safety with radiation safety measures and dose awareness.
• Conduct portable radiography and provide trauma/ED imaging support.
• Assist in operating room with imaging support and collaborate with surgical team.
• Use basic computer skills to manage patient records and operate imaging machinery.
• Perform quality assurance checks on radiology equipment and report malfunctions.
• Communicate with patients, explain procedures, provide comfort measures.
• Adhere to infection prevention guidelines and ensure proper room turnover.
• Maintain current BLS (CPR) certification and apply skills as necessary.
