Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging under the general direction of a physician, ensuring ALARA principles are achieved. The role may include front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs, and patient intake to support departmental workflow.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT Radiography certification or eligibility, Basic Life Support, and completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• ARRT Radiography certified or eligible.
• Depending on departmental business needs, may be competent in vitals signs, phlebotomy, EKG, front desk duties including quick registration.
• Change agility and flexibility a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiographic imaging under physician supervision.
• Adhere to ALARA principles to ensure radiation safety.
• Participate in department quality improvement processes.
• Support patient workflow including front desk duties, phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs and intake as needed.
