Job summary

Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team in Wallowa County. You will perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, prepare rooms, position patients safely and capture high-quality images per provider orders and protocols.

We value patient-centered care and safety, with attention to detail and strong communication. Qualified candidates have an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification; CT licensure and OBMI eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• 1+ year radiology experience preferred.
• CT licensure through OBMI preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Eligible for OBMI licensure in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using approved techniques and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and exam rooms for each procedure.
• Position patients accurately and ensure proper shielding to minimize radiation exposure.
• Follow physician orders and protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to needs or concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and enter exam data into the EHR.
• Adhere to infection control, safety and radiation protection standards.
• Assist with quality assurance activities and participate in department improvements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and care team members to ensure a positive imaging experience.
• Support the mission and values of Wallowa Memorial Hospital in care.
