Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality radiologic procedures, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT certification, with 1+ year radiology experience preferred and OBMI CT licensure perferred. Oregon licensure and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• 1+ year Radiology experience preferred.
• CT licensure through OBMI preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using approved techniques and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and exam rooms for each procedure.
• Position patients correctly and ensure shielding to minimize radiation exposure.
• Follow physician orders and protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Monitor patients during procedures and address any needs or concerns.
• Enter exam data into the EHR and maintain accurate patient records.
• Adhere to infection control, safety and radiation protection standards.
• Assist with quality assurance activities and departmental improvements.
• Communicate effectively with patients and care teams to ensure a positive imaging experience.
• Support hospital mission and values through professionalism and excellence in care.
