Schedule - Monday to Thursday (No Fridays or Weekends)

Monday and Wednesday: 8 am to 6 pm

Tuesday and Thursday: 8 am to 3:30 pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Explain procedures and processes to patients.
  • Move imaging equipment into position; determine exposure factors based on patient size and the area involved; adjust equipment controls to produce detailed, accurate images.
  • Practice radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
  • Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures.
  • Process and review images for quality and proper identification.
  • Prepare images for review by radiologists or physicians.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and perform minor repairs on radiologic equipment, coordinating repairs as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
  • ARRT certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Experience with Epic EMR software.
  • Orthopedic imaging experience.

For New York residents, the hourly pay range is $23.22 to $45.43, depending on factors like experience, education, and certifications. We comply with all applicable wage laws.
