Atrium Health Pineville, established in 1987, serves South Charlotte, Ballantyne, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and surrounding areas. The Radiology Technologist performs radiographic examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, coordinating daily activities including procedures and clerical duties.
Requires physical effort for assisting patients, handling equipment, and monitoring supplies. Good communication skills are essential. The role involves bending, stretching, kneeling, and manipulating radiographic equipment. Visual and auditory acuity are necessary, along with the ability to adapt to various physical conditions and environmental changes.
Successful completion of an AMA-accredited Radiology Tech Program, ARRT registration, and BLS for Healthcare Providers from AHA are required. New graduates must be eligible for registry within one year of hire.
