Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship hospital of Atrium Health, renowned for excellent patient care and medical expertise. Established in 1943, CMC has grown into the largest hospital in the region, offering a full range of services with over 1,100 physicians and providers. CMC is the region’s only Level 1 trauma center and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas, and liver. It is also a North Carolina Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospital, providing residency training for over 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serving as a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Responsibilities include performing radiographic examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist and coordinating daily activities such as examinations and clerical duties.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires physical effort assisting patients and handling equipment. Good communication skills are necessary. May involve stretching, bending, twisting, kneeling, and using hands for manipulation of radiographic equipment. Vision and hearing within normal ranges are required.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
Completion of a formal Radiology Tech Program in an AMA-approved facility, ARRT registration, and BLS certification from AHA are required. New graduates must be registry eligible with certification completed within one year of hire.
