We are seeking a Mobile Mammography Technologist to join our team in the Charlotte Metro. This team member will be responsible for operating mobile mammography units, performing mammograms, and ensuring high-quality imaging services to patients in various locations. This role requires excellent patient care, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a mobile setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate mobile mammography equipment to perform high-quality mammograms
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on equipment
- Travel to various locations as required, including community centers, workplaces, and healthcare facilities
- Educate patients about the mammography process and answer any questions they may have
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT certification in Mammography (M) required
- Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
- Active state licensure, where applicable
- 0 to 2+ years of experience as a Mammography (M) Technologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel
- Experience with mobile mammography units
