Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for the provision of Imaging Services to include the specialty areas of routine diagnostic x-rays, portable x-rays, and fluoroscopy. What You Will Do In This Role:

  1. You will obtain quality diagnostic images.
  2. You will scan in labels and document appropriately.
  3. You will resolve QA issues in a timely manner.
  4. You will ensure images are released to radiologists in a timely manner.
  5. You will ensure orders are valid and entered appropriately.
  6. You will transport patients as needed.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  1. Graduate of an accredited or registered School of Radiology is required.
  2. Current registration with A.R.R.T. is required.
  3. Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT) is required.
  4. American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
  5. One year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
