Job summary

Valley Baptist - Harlingen Hospital is seeking a radiology technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under physician supervision. You will apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis for patients from newborn to elderly and complete required competencies during the introductory period.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality radiographs, rotating through OR, Urography, trauma, and other advanced areas, and assisting with fluoroscopy and trauma procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program.
• Preferred: Associate degree.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of experience.
• Required: ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post graduation; BLS, state license if required

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs; rotates through OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma.
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
