Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality images. You will work within a team focused on compassionate care and adherence to radiation safety standards.

The role requires ARRT certification, 1+ year radiology experience, and proficiency with EMR/PACS systems. Expect a full-time day shift and opportunities for clinical growth within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in Diagnostic Imaging including Surgery and Trauma.
• One year post certification experience required to evaluate and/or instruct student radiographers.
• Ability to analyze and assess data, techniques, and equipment operation for accuracy.
• Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations.
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment and perform imaging procedures safely.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and ensure equipment safety checks.
• Document accurately in EMR and PACS systems.
• Assist patients during procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy.
• Follow infection control and radiation safety practices.
