TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our imaging team in Tennessee. You will perform diagnostic imaging exams, ensure image quality, and support compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT R.T. (R) or registry eligibility, and BLS within 30 days of hire. Prior radiography experience and teamwork skills are valued for success in this environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT R.T. (R) or registry eligible.
• BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively with facility professionals.
• Strong technical knowledge of radiography equipment and imaging standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality assurance guidelines and HIPAA privacy regulations.
• Protect patients and staff by adhering to infection control and safety procedures.
• Ensure proper operation of radiology equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform radiographic examinations as ordered, delivering high-quality images.
• Prepare and position patients using immobilization devices and adjust exposure factors.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during transport and exams.
• Administer contrast agents under Radiologist guidance and minimize exposure.
• Document patient care in department records and address care-related issues.
• Maintain a clean, professional environment and pursue ongoing professional development.
