Job summary

United Surgical Partners International seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under minimal supervision, applying x-ray energy to aid diagnosis for patients from newborn to elderly.

Responsibilities include producing radiographs of high quality, assisting with fluoroscopy/arthrography, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment and a clean working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum experience: 1 year in diagnostic radiography.
• Current Texas State registration is required; ARRT radiography certification or registry eligibility; ARRT within 1 year post graduation.
• BLS certification obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic radiographs by selecting and operating appropriate radiographic equipment.
• Assist practitioner with fluoroscopy and arthrography and related procedures.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and proper identification/recording of procedures.
• Keep areas and equipment neat, report malfunctions, and participate in training.
