Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under supervision, using x-ray energy to aid diagnosis and treatment for patients from newborn to elderly. You will select equipment, prepare contrast media, and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality images, assisting with fluoroscopy, maintaining equipment, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiography.
• Current Texas State registration as Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT certification in Radiography or registry eligible; ARRT within one year post graduation.
• BLS certification through approved American Heart Association Training Center or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic radiographs using appropriate equipment.
• Assist practitioner with fluoroscopy and arthrography as needed.
• Position patients to demonstrate anatomical areas of interest with attention to safety and comfort.
• Ensure pregnancy status and LMP are checked where applicable.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions; keep work area clean and safe.
• Provide instruction and precepting for students and other healthcare professionals.
