Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Mobile Radiologic Technologist to support centers in Manchester, Glastonbury, and Enfield, CT. You will perform diagnostic X-rays, review image quality, and ensure radiation safety while traveling between locations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• State licensure in Radiography required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-rays ordered by providers to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Follow all radiation safety standards and imaging protocols.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as appropriate.
• Travel between assigned centers as scheduled to support operational needs.
• Partner with providers and clinical teams using Microsoft Teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Your Role as a Mobile Radiologic Technologist

• Perform diagnostic X-rays ordered by providers to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Follow all radiation safety standards and imaging protocols.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as appropriate.

Clinical Support

• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Support patient flow and contribute to an efficient clinical environment.
• Ensure patient comfort by clearly explaining imaging procedures and answering questions.
• Travel between assigned centers as scheduled to support operational needs.
• Partner with providers and clinical teams using Microsoft Teams and other communication tools to ensure seamless coordination of care.
• Help create a welcoming environment that reflects the values and standards of Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care.

What You're Looking For
