Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Hamden, CT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our center. You will perform diagnostic X-rays, ensure image quality, and uphold radiation safety standards as part of a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• State licensure in Radiography required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic X-rays ordered by providers to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Follow all radiation safety standards and imaging protocols.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as appropriate.
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Obtain clinical information and vital signs as needed.
• Support laboratory and diagnostic testing processes.
• Assist with specimen collection and point-of-care testing within scope and training.
• Support patient flow and contribute to an efficient clinical environment.
• Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process.
• Help create a welcoming environment reflecting Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care standards.
• Collaborate with providers, clinical support staff, and operational leaders.
