McLaren Health Care is seeking a radiologic technologist to prepare and operate x-ray equipment, position patients, and develop film for diagnostic imaging. The role serves patients from newborns to geriatrics and requires a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic procedures, ensuring accurate exposure factors, and maintaining departmental records. The position is full-time with a day-to-evening schedule and no on-call duties.

Formación

• Ability to perform a variety of radiographic procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety and protection.
• CPR certification required or within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic radiographic services as ordered by a physician.
• Operates imaging equipment with phototiming when possible.
• Positions and transfers patients, ensuring comfort and safety across age groups.
• Calculates exposure factors and evaluates radiographs for technical quality.
• Maintains department records and assists with performance improvement.
