Job summary

WVU Medicine seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and supportive patient care within the Radiology Department. The role requires rotating through Fluoro, OR, mobile and routine imaging, ensuring optimal image quality and radiation safety.

You will educate patients and collaborate with nursing and medical staff to deliver high-quality care. Candidates must have a Medical Imaging Program, ARRT certification, and state radiography licensure as applicable, plus BLS within 30

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current Radiography License as required by state board where services will be provided.
• National certification required (ARRT) upon hire where applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Rotates across Diagnostic areas to develop technical skills (fluoro, mobiles, OR, endoscopy, orthopedics).
• Perform imaging procedures based on patient status and service requests.
• Produce high-quality images with proper exposure factors while minimizing radiation.
• Educate patients about radiographic procedures and safety.
• Coordinate daily workflow and support radiology team.
• Supervise or guide students per program policies.
