Job summary

Atrius Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for our Medford and Cambridge locations in Massachusetts. The role involves performing standard and specialized radiographic examinations, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring high-quality images for interpretation.

You will work 38 hours weekly across two sites, with schedule details including Medford and Cambridge shifts. Licensing, ARRT eligibility, and CEU documentation are required. Sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program and registry eligible
• Licensed in Massachusetts as a radiologic technologist
• ARRT license or registry eligible
• Ability to provide CEU documentation required for licensure

Responsibilities

• Works independently using extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, positioning, radiation physics and radiation dosage
• Confirms appropriate clinical data, obtains patient history and uses the lowest possible dose to provide high quality images for the interpreting radiologist
• Delivers excellent customer service and support to patients and clinicians, answering phones, scheduling, and conducting outreach calls on behalf of the radiology department.
• Provides for the emotional, physical wellbeing and safety of the patient while maintaining strict standards of patient confidentiality
• Communicates effectively with patients and health care team members
• Understands and is competent in other Radiology Department responsibilities and performs these functions regularly
• Recognizes and communicates equipment problems to the Department Supervisor
• Performs other duties as assigned
