Job summary

TriHealth’s Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH seeks an X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under Radiologist direction, delivering high-quality visuals with patient care.

Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly, 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7:30pm, with no scheduled weekends (weekends possible as needed). Includes a $18,000 sign-on bonus (2-year commitment), shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Allied Health (Required).
  • Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program (Required).
  • Ohio Radiologic License (Required).
  • ARRT - Radiographer (Required).

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of radiographic procedures and adheres to department protocols.
  • Produces quality radiographs with attention to radiation safety and patient care.
  • Maintains accurate records and supports infection prevention and safety standards.
  • Coordinates with radiologists and staff to ensure timely imaging and reporting.
  • Mentors students and participates in ongoing education and quality assurance.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position, 72 hours bi-weekly

Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Radiologist and the supervision of the manager or supervisor, radiologic technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. Technologists are trained in multifaceted services such as Fluoroscopy, OR, ERCP, Digital Radiography, Portable x-ray equipment, Dexa Scans, etc. and demonstrates competencies annually. This position provides maximum benefit to the patient by producing quality images with the lowest possible radiation exposure to the patient. This position is responsible for performing quality radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician and in accordance with department policies and procedures, working effectively with patients and families to provide patient care, maintaining a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members, complies with infection prevention procedures, maintaining accurate records, radiation safety, student education, orientation of new employees, quality assurance, care of equipment, and other duties as assigned. This position is required to meet the minimum continuing educational requirements established by the state of Ohio and is required to maintain ARRT and ODH licensure.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates ongoing CBE's. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and its operating procedures through CBE's. Selects proper imaging protocols and follows departmental procedures.
  • Demonstrates organizational and communication skills to promote the well-being of the department. Maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members.
  • Demonstrates the ability to consistently produce and evaluate diagnostic radiographs for radiological interpretation.
  • Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork. Work is completed before submitting it.
  • Provides for patient, family, and staff comfort and care prior to, during, and after a procedure. Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergent situations.
