Premise Health is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to join our Health & Wellness Center in Wichita, KS. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure safety standards, and collaborate with clinicians to provide accurate diagnostic information.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, CPR/BLS, and 2 years of clinical radiology experience in ambulatory or ED settings. This is a part-time, on-site position with a clinic schedule and potential additional hours.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology.
• State license/registration as a radiologic technologist.
• ARRT certification.
• CPR/BLS certification with hands-on skills demonstration.
• Two years of clinical radiology experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment with quality control checks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards to minimize exposure.
• Perform diagnostic and surveillance X-rays following provider orders.
• Review and verify provider orders and patient information for accuracy.
• Position patients for imaging ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient interactions.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and patient flow.

Premise Health is proud to partner with Textron Aviation and is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to work in our Health & Wellness Center located in Wichita, KS.

Schedule

• 14 Hours Per Week
• Clinic Schedule: Mon - Fri 7:00 am - 6:00 pm; Sat 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Proposed Schedule For this Role:
  • Fri 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Sat 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Additional Hours may be available on the as needed basis

What You’ll Do

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing quality control checks as required.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including diagnostic and surveillance X-rays following provider orders.
• Review and verify provider orders and patient information to ensure accuracy and completeness of imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication by addressing questions and explaining the process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures and patient interactions.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology.
• Documentation of state license/registration as a radiologic technologist (e.g. copy of actual license, verification of license, or email including license number) required.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• CPR (BLS for community/lay responder or Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer - the copy must include the front and back of card as applicable) Certification must include “hands on' evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor. Total on-line courses will not be accepted. Course must also meet the American Heart Association (AHA) standards but need not be an AHA certificate.
• Two years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting.
