Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I to perform radiographic exams, prepare patients, and ensure comfort during procedures. This role offers flexible hours with PRN/Registry options and an hourly pay range of $30.00 to $46.50, determined by experience.

The position requires a certificate or associate degree in radiology, CPR certification, ARRT eligibility within 1 year, and IEMA licensing.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program.
• CPR certification required; ARRT registry eligible within 1 year of employment.
• IEMA licensing required to practice radiology.
• Previous radiology experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams: obtain history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure comfort.
• Perform radiographic exams and ensure optimum image quality.
• Review radiographs and submit images to RIS promptly.

Position Highlights

• Position: Radiologic Technologist I
• Location: Highland Park
• Full Time/Part Time/Per Diem: PRN/Registry
• Hours: As needed/Flexible- Days
• Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs. per 6-week schedule
• Required Travel: Gurnee, Vernon Hills, HPH

What you will do

• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Perform radiographic exams
• Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
• Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner

What you will need

• Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program
• Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required within 1 year of employment
• License: IEMA licensing required
• Experience: Previous radiology experience preferred
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
