Job summary

RadNet is hiring a Radiology Technologist to perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients. You will monitor patient wellbeing, address questions about procedures, and respond to physician needs.

Requirements include ARRT certification, a state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, and BLS. One year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred, with a focus on safeguarding patient information and maintaining professional interactions with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer questions about exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R) certification
