Job summary

RadNet in New York is looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist who will perform high-quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and has a passion for patient care.

Your responsibilities include monitoring patient well-being, responding to physician inquiries, and adhering to safety protocols while maintaining professional behavior. Essential qualifications include ARRT certification and state licensing in Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.

  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams and answer their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.

  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.

  • Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.

  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.

  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.

  • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

  • Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

  • Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

  • ARRT(R) certification
