Job summary

RadNet Los Angeles is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams, while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will monitor patient well-being, answer questions about procedures, and collaborate with physicians to address patient needs. ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS are required, with at least one year of imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • ARRT certification is required.
  • State license in diagnostic radiologic technology is required.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient well-being during exams and address questions about procedures.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Safeguard patient information and on-site medications as per policy.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.

Education

ARRT certification

You Will:
  • Perform high quality radiologic and fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient's well-being during exams and answer their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:
  • ARRT(R) certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
  • BLS certification

Pay Range: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
