Job summary

Minnesota Vascular Surgery Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our outpatient center in Plymouth, MN. This 1.0 FTE role involves operating angiographic imaging equipment during endovascular procedures and supporting physicians with catheterizations and stent placements.

You will maintain the angiography suite, ensure sterile conditions, protect patients with radiation safety practices, and document all procedure details. No nights, weekends, or holidays; sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified radiologic technologist with Minnesota license required.
• Willingness to train in interventional radiology procedures.
• Strong understanding of vascular anatomy and endovascular imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced angiographic and imaging equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic endovascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the angiography suite, ensuring sterile readiness.
• Assist physicians with catheterizations, embolizations, stent placements and other vascular interventions.
• Explain procedures to patients and monitor their condition throughout.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Document all procedure details and perform pre-/post-procedure imaging.
• Assist with equipment quality control, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support scheduling to ensure smooth IR suite workflow.

Minnesota Vascular Surgery Center (MVSC) is currently looking for a Radiologic Technologist at our surgery center. We are a growing multifaceted medical practice in the NW metro area. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging studies while providing excellent patient care. This 1.0 FTE position and must be able to work 8 - 10 hour shifts Monday – Friday.There areno nights, weekends or holidays!

$2,000 sign-on bonus

Requirements

Radiologic Technologist Requirements:

• Operate advanced angiographic and imaging equipment during diagnostic and therapeutic endovascular procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the angiography suite, ensuring sterile and fully equipped procedural readiness.
• Assist physicians with catheterizations, embolizations, stent placements, and other vascular interventions.
• Support patient comfort by explaining procedures and monitoring their condition throughout.
• Maintain strict radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Perform pre- and post-procedure imaging and accurately document all procedure details.
• Participate in equipment quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance routines.
• Assist with scheduling coordination to support smooth workflow in the IR suite.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)); IR or CV specialty a plus.
• Licensed to practice in Minnesota.
• Willing to train in Interventional Radiology.
• Strong understanding of vascular anatomy and endovascular imaging protocols.
• Technical proficiency with fluoroscopy/angiography equipment and imaging software.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work confidently in a high-acuity environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to patient safety.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time.
• Frequent lift up to 35 lbs., occasional lift up to 50 lbs.
• Push/pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. or persons in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 lbs.
• Frequent patient positioning including bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, & reaching.
• Fast-paced angiography suite with advanced imaging equipment.
• Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting.
• Exposure to radiation and blood-borne pathogens—full safety protocols provided
