Job summary

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital in Phoenix is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join its PRN pool. You will perform diagnostic radiology procedures, operate X-ray equipment, and help prepare patient rooms and equipment in both surgical and routine settings.

The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration, AZ licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist, and active BLS. OR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • Must be ARRT registered and AZ licensed as Radiologic Technologist (General).
  • Current BLS certification required and OR experience preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in radiology or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Performs quality diagnostic radiology procedures accurately and timely.
  • Operates X-ray equipment and prepares patient rooms and equipment.
  • Adheres to proper radiation safety techniques on all exams.
  • Exam scope includes surgery radiology and regular diagnostic exams.

Arizona Specialty Hospital is hiring a Radiology Technologist PRN

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is a specialty inpatient hospital which was established to set a new standard for excellence and patient satisfaction in the delivery of orthopedic and spinal surgery. Job Summary
  • Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner in surgery or in regular diagnostic radiological exams.
  • Operates X-ray equipment, C-ARMS, prepares patient rooms and equipment.
  • Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed.
  • Exams include all surgery radiology cases and regular diagnostic cases.

Required Skills
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Graduate of an AMA - approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience or a combination of experience and educational background.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensed by the State of Arizona as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - General License.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Operating Room experience is preferred.
