Job summary

USPI Arizona Specialty Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist PRN to perform diagnostic radiology procedures in both surgical and standard exams. The role includes operating X-ray equipment, preparing rooms, and ensuring radiation safety.

Ideal candidates hold an AMA–approved radiologic technology degree, ARRT registration, a current Arizona license, and BLS certification; OR experience is a plus. This PRN opportunity supports our orthopedic and spinal surgery services.

Qualifications

  • AMA–approved radiologic technology program completion.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Licensed by the State of Arizona as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Prior OR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner in surgery or regular radiology exams.
  • Operate X-ray equipment, C-ARMS, prepare patient rooms and equipment.
  • Apply proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.

Job Summary

Required Skills
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Graduate of an AMA – approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience or a combination of experience and educational background.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensed by the State of Arizona as a Medical Radiologic Technologist – General License.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Operating Room experience is preferred.
